The Plaque in the new visitor center indicates the building was dedicated on May 15, 2010. The Architectwas O2 Architects, Billings, MT and General Contractor was Diamond Contruction, Helena MT.

This small but beautiful visitor center has a well stocked display of brochures and pamphlets of local and state-wide attractions, comfortable seating, educational items for sale and a manned information booth. There are several restrooms in the lobby and displays both inside and outside of the building. The building is gorgeous, inviting, and airy. A short trail behind the building includes interpretive signs explaining the local vegetation.
