The memorial is along a pathway in the civic center. There are some benches in front of it. The memorial consists of a granite piece and two sude piece made of a stone-like material. On the main part are the names of war dead. On each side of the granite are images from national monuments in Washington D.C. On each of the sides of the memorial are the seals to each of the armed forces of the United States.
