Ghost writing still shows on the east and west sides of the two-story red brick building located at 201 W. Main in downtown Stroud, OK. This building was built in 1901 and is currently on the National Register of Historic Places. It is known as the Stroud Trading Company building.
One of the past occupants of the building was a grocery, and on the east wall, you can almost pick out the words "Grocery and Sundries", with perhaps beginning initials, which may be from another ghost on this same location.
On the west wall of the building, you can read "Stroud Trading Co."
