Located on the historic Erie Canal this museum is housed in an 1860's-era canal building. The museum exhibits artifacts, authentic canal memorabilia, original canal art, and exhibits of early Canastota industries that thrived because of the canal. Included in the museum’s collection are pictures, slides, videos, books, cemetery files, news clippings, and genealogy information.
