Beautiful blue neon restored, in downtown Eugene. Re-lit on October 6th 2010 for the first time in over 25 years.

Originally installed in 1959 above the J.J. Newberry store this neon is a remnant of the five-and-dime store era. The Newberry's at this location closed in the 1980's or early 90's. The building was purchased by its current owner in 1994 and was transformed into a portion of the Downtown Athletic Club as well as the Newberry Child Care center and office space.

The sign was restored by Neon Latitudes.
