Battambang is one of the quieter and more respectable towns in Cambodia, however, it does have a few pieces of neon. One of these is 'across the river', shining above a small bar and restaurant, with the intriguing name of 'Pacific Night'. I am not sure of the etymology of the name, but here it is. The neon is written in Khmer, but there is also a (non neon) English sign adjacent.
