An iron truss bridge constructed in 1924 by Curn Mathis, Raymond Mathis, Marshall Mathis, Moody Mathis, B. Carney, and Tom Lyons. Originally constructed across Panther Creek just outside Blue Springs (north of Fort Henry, TVA relocated the bridge when Kentucky Lake was impounded in the 1940's.

Once relocated to Pryor Creek, the bridge remained in operation for an additional 30 years. Even though TVA saved this little bridge in the 1930s, fate wouldn't be so kind when the US Army Corp of Engineers impounded Lake Barkley. Based on the elevation of the bridge, along with its small size for the time, it was determined that an alternative route across Pryor Creek (now Bay) would need to be constructed. It wasn't long afterward that this little iron bridge was abandoned and virtually forgotten.
