On March 12, 1672, Somerset County granted PResbyterians permission to conduct regular services on the Wicomico River. The first Church, locate six miles down River, was one of five Churches organized by Francis MacKemie in 1683. It moved to Rackawalkin, 1742 and Salsbury, 1830. Present sanctuary built, 1859.
