Battambang is the second largest town in Cambodia, lying 300kms to the north west of Phnom Penh. It is served by a 'bus station' area to the north, centre of the town. There are maybe a half dozen or so bus companies with shop fronts, and parking areas in this spot. One of these companies, Paramount, has a small office and bus bay station. I made the waymark at this point.
The buses were busy when I visited in early October 2010, during a Buddhist holiday, with people travelling to and from their family homes.
