The day I visit this trig point it was a beautiful day with a deep covering of snow on the fell. A lot of people who climb up to Cross Fell are disappointed as the top can be covered with cloud for a large part of the year. This must have made life difficult for the Ordnance Survey surveyors who must have spent a fair bit of time waiting for the clouds to lift to enable them to sight the other TP's.
Visit Instructions:
1. A closeup photo of the waymark with your GPS, or (a part of) you in it, is required.
2. An area photo including the waymark in the view is highly appreciated.
Logs not meeting the requirements are considered arm chair visits and are therefor subject for deletion.
