The original School For The Blind occupied about 8 acres between 1848 and 1930 in downtown Indianapolis where the Indiana World War Memorial now stands.
The current 60 acre site near 75th and College was approved in 1923. The site includes dormatories, a music hall, an arboretum, track and field facility and a natatorium.
