The Schoolhouse Gap Trail is about 2 miles long. It connects the Laurel Creek Road to Schoolhouse Gap on the border of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The trail is intersected by the Turkeypen Ridge Trail at about the mid-point. Just past the junction of Turkeypen Ridge Trail (on the same side of the Schoolhouse Gap Trail) is the trail to White Oak Sinks. There is a parking lot at the trailhead.
