Built from sandstone with a granite base this impressive cenotaph was designed architects Irwin & Stephenson, with sculptures by Paul Montford.
The wall behind the cenotaph has 3 cast brass panels containing the names of local servicemen and women who died in all wars between the Boer War (1902) & the Malaysian Conflict (1966).
