Located in rural northeast Tennessee town of Hampton (population 4250), the Butler Manion is nestled next to Iron Mountain and Cherokee National Forest. The house was the summer home of Georgia Govenor (1915–1917) Nathaniel E. Harris (who passes legislature to establish George Tech).

Breakfast is served at the B&B, while Elizabethton or Johnson City would be good choices for dinner.
