This well kept cemetery, on Hwy 311, 4.2 km east of Hwy 59, has about 15 graves but no signage. The nearest town is New Bothwell about 3 km southeast. It's in the Rural Municipality of Hanover.

This was originally waymarked as Osterwick Cemetery #1.

There is no signage. The Manitoba Genealogical Society's publication, Carved in Stone, Manitoba Cemeteries and Burial Sites, refers to this cemetery at SW 36-7-4 E as Osterwick Cemetery #1.

The CanadaGenWeb's Cemetery Project list this cemetery as Osterwick North Mennonite (East Reserve) Cemetery.

They also list this cemetery: Osterwick / Giesbrecht Cemetery but with no information. The listing may refer to this cemetery since the earliest readable headstone is Peter Giesbrecht 26 Oct. 1933 and there are 5 other Giesbrecht headstones.

2016 I now have a membership to the Manitoba Genealogical Society which has list of burials in this cemetery, including a searchable online database available to members at MANI. MANI identified this cemetery as Osterwick / Giesbrecht.
