The City of Nichols Hills is a very exclusive area, home to some of the most expensive property in the State.

Woods Park is long and narrow, with N.W. Grand Blvd. running through the center, as well as on each side of the park. There are walking paths throughout the area, and lovely landscaping, as well as several pieces of outdoor artwork. Benches are available for sitting to enjoy the beautiful scenery. There is a plaque which reads: "Woods Park donated to the residents of the City of Nichols Hills in loving memory of Roy & Alta Woods by their children 1988."

Nichols Hills has 31 parks and landscaped areas throughout the City. Most of them are scenic spots with no ammenities or playground equipment, etc. They are simply areas to enjoy, and rest..

This long, narrow area from 63rd Street north along Grand Blvd. shows on the map to be "Grand Blvd. Park," however, it is actually several parks.

** The area from 63rd Street to Sherwood Lane is known as Grand Island Park.
** The area from Sherwood Lane to Bedford Drive is actually two parks, named Harvey Park and Red Bud Park.
** The area North of Bedford Drive is known as Woods Park.

A small monument is located at the posted cordinates which indicates that the large All Souls Episcopal Church, which now stands at N.W. 63rd and Pennsylvania, opened its doors at this park location on July 17, 1944.
