There are a number of Stoplerpersteine in this area and this is just one example. Up until the holocaust, many Jewish families used to live along the shoreline of Lake Griebnizsee in Potsdam. When they were deported, there houses were given to German actors who worked in the Babelsberg film studios nearby. According to one witness, everything happened so fast, that the coffee on the kitchen table was still hot when he moved in.

Die Ufer des Griebnitzsees waren ein traditionelles jüdisches Wohngebiet in Potsdam und dies ist nur einer von zahlreichen Stolpersteinen in der Gegend. Nach der Deportation der Bewohner wurden die Villen an Schauspieler übergeben, die in den nahegelegenen Babelsberger Filmstudios arbeiteten. Nach Zeugenaussagen war "der Kaffee auf dem Küchentisch noch warm" als die neuen Bewohner einzogen.
