Evangeline Park - Nichols Hills, OK - Municipal Parks and Plazas on Waymarking.com

This small landscaped area is triangular and bordered by roads on all sides. There is no parking except at the curb. Nichols Hills is a very expensive, exclusive neighborhood and the surroundings here are lovely.

There is a very large rock which is the "anchor" for the area. It is perhaps 12 feet long and about 5 feet high. A lovely flower garden sits in front of it.

The plaque reads: "Evangelina Park from Buck and Ben Kennedy - Major Donors (followed by a list of 10 families) Dedicated 1988 Architect George Seminoff"

Below that is a smaller plaque reading: "This sandstone rock given to Evangeline Park by Rock Grover Richardson 1986"

There are two concrete benches in front of the garden, etched in script "Evangeline Park."
