The city of Santa Monica is a mix of sand and shopping. The beaches stretch along ocean Blvds. Santa Monica piers jets into the ocean. Here you'll find a small, but popular amusement park.

In the downtown area is the Third Street Promonade. The street is the main anchor to the downtown area (though the whole downtown area is great for shopping)

Venice is a neighborhood of the city of Los Angeles. It's known for its beachfront boardwalk and for it's residential area complete with canals.
