The Abraham Lincoln Monument is located in front of the Long Beach Civic center. The sciulpture sits on a tall pedestal. Lincoln stands with his hands opens and positioned foward. The sculpture is a replica of the Saint-Gaudens sculptures located at Gettysburg and Lincoln Park in Chicago. It's been moved about the general area since its fabrication in 1906
On the front of the monument it reads: "Old Glory. Let Us Have Peace. 1861-1865. Dedicated to the Veterans of the Civil War."
