Paramount's city hall is a simple building. The facade of the structure is made up of glass panels with concrete. The area a few parking paces street side.
Next to the city hall building is a nice large war memorial with benches and a nice little plaza. The sign for the city hall is by the plaza. Across the street from the city hall and the memorial is the L.A. County library for the city of Paramount.
The city is in Southern Los Angeles county. It's bordered by the cities of Lynwood, Compton, Bellflower, Long Beach, Downey and South Gate. In 2000, the city's population was 55,266. It's total area was a little over 12 feet squared.
