The sign depicts Wrest Park and the Church of St James as its major themes. Additional themes are the former agricultural college, depicted by the tractor, and the village lock up dating from 1796.
At the base of the sign post there is a bricked plinth with a stone plaque. The stone plaque reads “Millennium 2000”.
