The Agricultural History Project, in association with downtown businesses is sponsoring an ongoing program to celebrate Watsonville's rich agriculture with murals of historic fruit crate lables.
This mural depicts the Golondrina brand, featuring its namesake bird (barn swallows, a local species). The fruit crate label is meticulously reproduced in its eye-catching colors. It's very visible across the block and can be seen up close by strolling into the empty bank's former drive-up window area.
