This cut mark shares the bridge with a collection of graffitti carved into the stonework.

On first examination, the graffiti on the bridge looks as though it may be very old, with a shield carved on the top near the cut mark. However, the name "Tony" appears elsewhere. Where I come from, this is not recognised as a medieval name!

The bridge crosses the River Beane.

The cut mark is is reasonable condition and central so easy to find.
