The Trading Path also known as the Indian Trading Path, originally connecting present-day Petersburg, Virginia with the Catawba Indians on the South Carolina border. It was a main road for settlers entering central North Carolina.
This is an old marker in the old style which was installed in 1941. There are many Trading Path markers documenting the path located in North Carolina.
