Just to the east of the 45th Infantry Division Museum at 2145 N.E. 36th Street in Oklahoma City, sits a gray granite bench honoring the veterans of the Korean War who served in Company B of the 180th Regiment of the 45th Infantry.
The inscription reads:
"Korean War Veterans
Company B
180th Infantry Regiment
45th Infantry Division"
Above the inscription is a colored Thunderbird logo of the 45th Infantry Division, with black etched Thunderbirds to each side.
It is a place you can sit for a while and remember those who have given so much for our freedom.
Visit the museum with a couple hours available as there are numerous military display items on the grounds, as well as an interesting and very complete museum of memorabilia in the old stone armory.
