They have large exhibit spaces with a permanent collection and changing exhibits, all of which have just one common theme: fiber. Past exhibits have included Hawaiian fashion along with Tapa (bark) cloth; the crocheted reef and anemone garden; Afghan war rugs; and a retrospective of Jean Ray Laury's quilting career.
This is located in an odd semi-industrial semi-hip neighborhood of San Jose. It's safe, and unlike most of downtown, easy to find parking nearby - or it's easy take public transit since the nearest streetcar stop is only a few blocks away.
Days and Hours of Operation: Tuesday through Sunday 10am – 5pm, also open 8PM to 11PM the FIRST Friday of each month
