This benchmark is located on the Wash. Hwy. 129 at the bridge across the Grande Ronde River. The cap is located on the bridge about 90 feet from the SW end of the bridge in the sidewalk. The cap was set by the U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey in 1945 and was marked GRANDE RONDE. This is the easternmost of two marks in the bridge sidewalk marked GRANDE RONDE.

DESCRIBED BY COAST AND GEODETIC SURVEY 1946 (JTJ) LOCATED BY DISTANCE AND DIRECTION FROM STATION GRANDE RONDE. THE STATION IS LOCATED ON THE NEW CONCRETE GRANDE RONDE RIVER BRIDGE, ABOUT 10 MILES AIRLINE, 18 MILES BY ROAD FROM TROY, AND 12.9 MILES BY ROAD FROM ANATONE AT THE FOOT OF RATTLESNAKE GRADE. MARKED WITH A STANDARD USC AND GS BENCH MARK DISC STAMPED GRANDE RONDE 1945, AND SET IN THE WEST WALKWAY OF THE BRIDGE 88 FEET FROM THE SOUTHWEST END OF THE BRIDGE.
