Pender Island is one of the five southern Gulf Islands served by BC Ferries. Pender is actually two islands, North and South connected by a short one lane bridge over the canal between the islands. Parts of Pender are included in the Gulf Islands National Park, including Beaumont Park and Mt Norman on South Island and Roesland with the Pender Island Museum on North Pender. There is a small snack bar serving ice cream cones etc at the ferry terminal.
