Long Description:
Built beside Alexander Parade in 1882, the world's tallest shot tower for Richard Hodgson. It was purchased by the Coop family in 1896 whom also operated the nearby tower in Melbourne Central.

The brick tower is a solid construction to this day with fairly decorated window openings along certain intervals to it's peak.

The tower operated until the year 1947..
