Along Mylod Street, there is a town line marker and a stone that delineate the boundary between the towns of Norwood and Walpole. The marker is on the north side of the road in a residential area. The nearest property on the north side, west of the boundary has a sign for a surveying business.

Both towns were established out of the original Dedham Plantation, which stretched from parts of present day Milton to Bellingham. Walpole was the first town established, in 1724, while Norwood was established in 1872. It is probable that the boundary was set then. I'm not sure when the stone marker was set.

The safest place to park is along Ryan Drive. Mylod Street is too windy and narrow for safe parking.
