Palmer Trig
Well hidden in the suburb of Amaroo.
Palmer Trig is a great reconstruction of the original rock cairn.
It makes a surprising find, surrounded completely by peoples back fences.
There is a plaque on the base reads.
PALMER

THIS "POLE AND CAIRN"WAS ORIGINALLY ERECTED IN 1878
NOW RECONSTRUCTED, IT IS TYPICAL OF EARLY SURVEY
