The building is made of red brick, with bands of stone and stone window and door frames. The roof is of welsh slate. The front door porch is flanked by tapered octagonal towers, the upper section being of stone with a lead dome and tall iron finials. Above the porch is a seven light main window in the gothic style. The overall style of the building is somewhere between gothic revival and arts and crafts.
