My family and I stopped in Grafton, West Virginia on a summer vacation trip. First we jumped into the nearby town pool to cool a little bit down and then we had a late lunch at Hometown Hotdogs.
This little restaurant received the 2008 Weenie Award for the best Taylor County hot dog from the West Virginia Hot Dog Blog. We absolutely agree with this honor, the hot dogs were fantastic. It all starts with a wiener on a soft steamed bun. Just plain or simple topped with mustard, chili, peppers or kraut. But you can also have it the West Virginia style, sweet with creamy coleslaw and chili.
Seating is inside, the service was very friendly and quick. Address is 1312 West Main Street in Grafton, WV at the junction of US Highway 50 and State Route 310.
We think it's a great place to stop. Check it out.
