The plaque Reads:
"The Flame of Freedom shall never die,
So long as man holds it next to God
It is the devotion that the men of
Franklin County have given life and limb in
World Wards I and II, Korea and Viet Nam,
It is with this in mind, that the Franklin County
Jaycees dedicate this Flame in their honor
May they live forever in our memory
just as freedom will as long as we have such men.
