NGS MY2557 is the peak of a cupola on the Hampstead, NH Town Hall. The papers refer to it as the 'Black Dome'. First observation of this point was made in 1886. It lacks a description on the datasheets, probably due to the fact that is an intersecting station. There may have been maintenance performed on the cupola over time, which may lead the original setting open to question. However, the readings are as they should be.
The station is located in Hampstead: From the intersection of NH State Routes 111 and 121, go north on SR 121 for 1.1 mi to the station on the right at the Hampstead Town Hall. The station is the peak of the 'Black Dome' cupola on top of the Town Hall building.
