This mounting block is outside one of the oldest Quaker Meeting Houses, in the village of Yealand Conyers.

Like the wall, this block has been patched with mortar. The meeting house was built in 1692 and the mounting block would have been built at same time. A stable was built later on the side of the meeting house. Both the wall and block look to use limestone rubble.
