A small, simple memorial made of granite and situated in Pleasant Cemetery, one mile west of SD Highway 25.
The brass plaque lists the names of those area men who served in World War 2. The stone is about 5 feet tall and about two feet wide, and is sitting on a concrete pad just inside one of the gates to the cemetery.
