This mark is on top of a narrow, short column above a low retaining wall, a few meters north of Divarty Street, a few meters west of a sidewalk between two abandoned buildings, the easternmost of which is near the intersection of Divarty and 2nd Avenue. The mark is behind a chain link fence separating the public road from the decommissioned Army base and its (dangerous) abandoned buildings, but it is very noticeable from the roadside.
To log this waymark, take a photograph of it from outside the fence. There is no need to enter the restricted area.
This mark was placed after the nearest NGS-documented benchmark GU3899 was destroyed. (Many erroneous sightings of this highly-visible mark have been reported as the PID of GU3899. That was a large tank on the nearby hill and was noted as "Station Lost" in 1968.) This mark was apparently never monumented with the NGS as it is not among their PIDs.
