Totally renovated over the summer of 2010, this building has had many uses over the past few decades. Julio's Pizza, Heavy Duty Pizza, Donut Diner, An independent doughnut shop and now a Dairy Queen that also serves Orange Julius.
This renovation took a long time and you can tell why. The owner and other workers did a great job, the restaurant looks great. Locally there was quite the buzz of people wondering when it would open. When hiring started, kids came from far and wide to apply.
I live, what could be describes as, a short dog-walk away. If you know when you might be visiting then let me know and I might meet you for a chocolate dipped vanilla cone or even a peanut buster parfait.
They have all the standard ice cream treats, but only have hot dogs for hot food.
