The Kunsthaus Baselland opened in 1997 and offers exhibition space of 1800m2. The museum is specialized in young contemporary art. It is run by the Kunstverein Baselland (Art Association Baselland) and financially suported by the Council of Education and Culture of the Canton Basel-Land.
It is located at the border of Muttenz, just behind the football stadium St. Jakob in Basel.
