This large fountain is in a picnic and rest area at Lakeside Amusement Park. This area originally had been the location of the bandstage when 'White City' opened in 1908. The property was purchased in the 1930s and renamed Lakeside Amusement Park.

This wonderful historic park is still family owned and run by the Krasner family. Benjamin Krasner bought the park in the 1930s and gave it a wild Art Deco makeover, with the aid of renowned architect Richard Crowther. (Complied from (visit link) , (visit link) and (visit link) ).
