The mark is located at the summit of Chinidere Mountain in a rock outcropping on the west side of the summit ridge a foot or two off the west side of the trail. The trail is named the Chinidere Mountain Trail (Tr # 445) which intersects with Pacific Coast Trail #2000 near Wahtum Lake in the Mt. Hood National Forest.
