Oulu railway station is located in the center of Oulu, Finland.
This wooden building was originally built in 1886 when the Ostrobothnia railway line reached Oulu. The original station was probably designed by Knut Nylander. 1922 the station was extended and the extension was designed by Bruno Granholm.
The Oulu railway station is the most important railway station in northern Finland and all railroads to the north of N65° latitude in Finland goes through here. The bus station for long-distance buses is located other side of the tracks.
