This is the site of the historic Fairhaven Grist Mill. The dam on the Clearwater River still remains along with the rundown mill building.

The Fairhaven Mill, also known as the Fairhaven Flour or Grist Mill is listed on the National Register of Historic Places (building 78001574). This mill was very active and a signifigant MN place in the period 1850-1874.
Fairhaven Mill is on the boarder of Wright County (MN) although Stearns County (MN). While Wright County ownes and operates the site Stearns County shares the operational cost of the park. The 5 acre park has picnic tables and benches as well as a public landing and access to Mill Pond (Marie Lake), a popular local fishing spot.
