The final resting place of Chief Oshkosh of the Menominee Tribe. Chief Oshkosh played a major role in negotiations to protect the Menominee Indian lands in Wisconsin. He died in Keshena, WI and he was moved to Oshkosh at a later date. The city of Oshkosh was named in his honor.
