The station was build in 1901 as station and theehouse at the same time. It was part of a local line between the seaport and the cattle-market
The station was mainly is use for the people working in the cattle-market and abattoir (slaughterhouse) closeby in the area. It was mainly a cargo station and was closed in 1957.
This area is now cheered up and a part of the rails are now visible as well as an old railway carriage.
