St Mary’s church features two Norman doorways, and carved bench ends with animals.
The Church was built around 1170.
Approx 1850 the Roof of nave was altered from thatch to slate with walls raised to suit.
Original chancel rebuilt complete with a rounded addition over what was thought to be a prior structure.
