From the Kingsport Times-News (timesnews.net) published July 24th, 2010, we learn that
"Warpath Lanes is 50 years old and is one of the oldest bowling alleys in the country still operating in its same location with its original owners. Open daily and includes a snack bar that sells sandwiches, hot dogs, hamburgers and pizza. No alcoholic beverages are sold.
Frances Lane said she was questioned when she and her husband first opened the bowling alley. “Someone said ‘How in the world are you going to run a bowling alley without selling alcohol?’ Well, we’ve done it now for 50 years,” she said."
