OLD WHITE MARSH EPISCOPAL CHURCH
Original structure built before 1690. Early 18th century rector was the Rev. Daniel Maynadier. A later provincial rector (1746-1768), the Rev. Thomas Bacon, compiled "Bacon's Laws". Authoritative compendum of colonial statutes, Thomas John Glaggett, First Episcopal Bishop of Maryland, officiated here in 1793. Robert Morris, Sr., father of revolutionary financiar, is buried here.
Church burned in 1892, was partially restored in 1977.
